Chamber Hosts County Executive Candidates for a Standing-Room-Only Knowledge Breakfast

Posted on Oct. 27, 2025  /  Events  /  0

The Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership welcomed a packed house to its October Knowledge Breakfast featuring Erie County Executive Brenton Davis and Democratic nominee Christina Vogel. The conversation drew more than 100 attendees to the Marquette Savings Bank Innovation Learning Center for a candid and engaging discussion about the future of Erie County leadership.

Moderated by Chamber President & CEO Brandon Mendoza, the event gave both candidates the opportunity to share their perspectives on key issues shaping the region’s growth. Each presentation was followed by a Q&A session that allowed Chamber members and community stakeholders to ask questions directly and gain a deeper understanding of each candidate’s vision.

“This event reflects the Chamber’s commitment to providing access to timely, relevant information that impacts our region’s growth,” said Mendoza. “We’re proud to bring our community together to hear directly from the individuals who shape Erie’s future.”

Davis, elected in 2020, currently serves as Vice Chair of NACo’s International Economic Development Task Force and is a member of the Economic Mobility Leadership Network. Vogel, a local entrepreneur and the first independent female franchisee in Donatos company history, owns and operates two Erie County locations and serves on the Erie County Community College Board of Trustees.

The Knowledge Breakfast series, presented by Infinite Erie, continues to bring thought-provoking conversations to Erie’s business community — connecting leaders, sparking dialogue, and inspiring collaboration on issues that matter most.
